FOUR police officers accused of bashing Ballina man Corey Parker have had their matters briefly mentioned in the Sydney Supreme Court.

Constable Lee Walmsley, Constable Ryan Eckersley, former Sergeant Robert McCubben and Senior Constable Mark Woolven face 14 charges over the alleged attack at the Ballina police station in January, 2011.

The charges range from common assault to perjury and perverting the course of justice.

Mr Parker was charged with assaulting police until video footage emerged of him allegedly being bashed in a cell by police.

All charges were later dropped.

Justice Derek Price briefly mentioned the matters on Friday in the lead-up to a trial.

A trial date is expected to be handed down in February.
