Police 'out in force' after bikie wedding shooting

FEAR of revenge attacks following Sunday's fatal bikie shooting sparked a massive police operation in Sydney's west on Tuesday.

Comanchero member Faalau Pisu, 26, died after being shot in the head at a Serbian wedding reception near Canley Vale.

Two others, aged 27 and 25, were shot in the legs and remain in hospital.

NSW Police organised crime chief Arthur Katsogiannas told reporters on Tuesday police would be "out in force" in the western suburbs in an attempt to prevent further attacks.

He said the public could be assured "all available resources" were being used to track down the culprits and ensure there is no "further recriminations".

Up to 100 wedding guests have been interviewed by police.

Detectives are searching for a blue ute believed to have been driven by the gunman on the night of the shooting.
