Police release the name of Mur’bah woman killed in crash

TWEED Byron Police have confirmed the identity of a Murwillumbah woman who died in a car crash at Coorabell on Sunday as 28-year-old Harlie Denny-O'Rourke.

Police were alerted to the crash at Coolamon Scenic Dr, Coorabell at 7.25am and on arrival located a Subaru station wagon that was badly damaged.

The car appeared to have left the road on a sweeping bend, colliding with a tree.

Ms Denny-O'Rourke was deceased when police arrived on the scene and was the only occupant of the car.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
