Police search for possible offenders
POLICE have released CCTV pictures of two men who they would like to speak with in relation to a robbery with violence at a business in Surfers Paradise on Saturday afternoon.
Two men entered the business on Tricket Street at around 2pm and assaulted a staff member while demanding cash.
The pair fled the premises with a sum of money and ran through an arcade where they entered a taxi and travelled to Main Place, Broadbeach.
The first man is described as being Caucasian, around 190cm tall with a stocky build, big shoulders and a medium complexion. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt with 'Bad Boy' written on the front, a dark blue cap with an 'A' symbol, light pattered knee length shorts with a brown belt, and white 'Nike' brand sneakers. He also had a distinctive tattoo of a lady on his right upper arm. He was later seen with no shirt.
The second man is described as being Caucasian, around 190cm tall and of a solid build with facial stubble, short brown hair and a medium complexion. He was wearing a white singlet, denim cargo shorts, white sneakers and was carrying a backpack. He had a distinctive full sleeve tattoo incorporating a large leaf on his right arm as well as tattoos on his chest and back of the neck.
Police investigations are continuing.
