Police seek info on Easter assaults

IN yesterday’s Tweed Daily News we reported that an incident in Tweed Heads that left three people injured on Good Friday was a “gang fight”.

During the incident in Wharf St a 38-year-old man was struck on the back of the head.

He fell to the ground and was then struck in the back with a pole.

A 33-year-old man received facial injuries and a 33-year-old woman was punched in the face during the incident.

The 38-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was still in a serious condition.
