On Friday, August 29, the driver of a maroon-coloured Mitsubishi Lancer station wagon, NT registration number CA17BS has allegedly failed to pay for petrol at a Chinderah service station.

The vehicle shown in CCTV footage has numerous children's items secured to the roof of the vehicle.

Although there are Northern Territory registration plates attached, police believe the driver may be working or travelling locally in the Tweed.

Police have released a CCTV image of a person who they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

The female shown in this picture is wearing a black and grey striped top and black shorts.
