Police try to floss out would-be Banora dentist thieves

POLICE are hunting for two people who were seen trying to break into a Tweed Heads South dentist on Saturday.

The Banora Seaview Dental surgery in Tierney Place was closed when the offenders were seen at 12.50pm.

Both were carrying dark sports bags over their shoulders.

The female is described as being in her mid 20s, thin, short, of Pacific Islander appearance with frizzy dark hair and wearing denim shorts and a fluro singlet.

The male is described as being in his 20s, medium build, 180cm tall, Pacific Islander appearance, dark shorts and a t-shirt.

They were last seen walking along Terranora Rd, Tweed Heads South.
