Police view CCTV after chemist break-in

POLICE are viewing CCTV footage after a man broke into a Tweed Heads West chemist early Sunday morning.

Tweed/Byron LAC Inspector Gary Cowan said that just before 5.30am, a man smashed the glass panel at the front of a Kennedy Dr chemist, before entering the building.

He said it was unclear exactly what – or how much – was taken, but investigations are continuing.
