Police want to speak with caller in relation to murder of Shandee
POLICE are appealing for a member of the public who contacted Crime Stoppers with information relating to the murder of Shandee Blackburn in Mackay to again come forward.
Crime Stoppers received a call from a person on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 30.
Police are keen to speak again with the caller.
"While we are unable to comment any further on the specifics of the caller or the information provided, we can confirm the information provided to us was certainly of interest and we would like to speak again with the person," Detective Superintendent Steve Holahan of the State Crime Command's Homicide Group said.
Ms Blackburn died after suffering multiple stab wounds on Boddington Street early on February 9.
Members from the Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Investigation Unit continue to investigate Operation Lima Zimzala.
