COOLY Rocks On will get off with a bang this Friday and Fred "Willie" Astaire will strut his stuff once again.

Last year's winner of the Cooly Rocks Poodle Parade, the adorable little poodle will don his top hat and bow tie and "put on the Ritz."

"I was so thrilled by the win that I offered to help run the parade this year," said owner Jean MacKay.

With the expertise of dog show organiser Carolyne Callen, it promises to be a lot of fun.

"Dress your best friend up for the Rock n' Roll theme or just paint her toenails for the prettiest feet," Ms MacKay said.

Poodles and poodle-cross are all welcome with a tiny entry fee of just $5.

There will be prizes for the best poodle on parade, overall winner and runner up, as well as a grand prize, winner and runner-up ribbons in all classes, Animal Magic Pet Grooming vouchers, Magic Mirror gift certificate, My Vet vouchers and various other goodies.

Sponsored by My Vet, Animal Magic Pet Grooming and Purina Pro-plan dog food, Classes include toys, miniatures, best traditional clip, best head, best gait and best look-alikes for owner and pet.

For more details and an entry form phone 0434 055 066 to be in the amazing Cooly Rocks On Poodle Parade that takes place on Sunday June 10 on the corner of Griffith and Warner Sts, Coolangatta.
