Pool fencing laws to change

LAWS governing pool fences in NSW are about to change with an announcement to be made by Ballina MP and Local Government Minister Don Page today.

Mr Page is expected to make the announcement about noon today at Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney.

No details on the changes were available.

However, the announcement was also expected to be attended by Royal Life Saving chief executive Rob Bradley, and Australian Medical Association and neurosurgeon Brian Owler.
