Pop idol apologises for sex with boyfriend by shaving head
A JAPANESE starlet has shaved her head and filmed an apology after she broke the rules of her managers by spending a night with her boyfriend.
Minami Minegishi, 20, of the band AKB48, reportedly breached her production company's most important commandment - no dating.
Ms Minegishi said she did not want to be expelled from the band.
The shaving of the head can be considered an act of contrition or remorse in Japan.
