Positivity is key to wins

LEAGUE-TAG: Cudgen coach Letitia Kelly said her side will take positives away from last weekend's draw, as they aim to keep pushing up the ladder.

Two disallowed tries kept the Hornets from snatching a tight win over Evans Head, with the teams levelled at 10-all when the final whistle blew.

Kelly said her side did not execute the way they wanted to, which has been a focus at training all week.

"We need to communicate and stick to our game plan. We just need to play our game and not get caught up with everything,” she said.

"With where we are at the moment, we need to stay focused and not getting ahead of ourselves.”

The Hornets sit sixth on the table with three wins and two draws next to their name.

They are at home for this weekend's round-seven clash with fourth placed Mullumbimby.

Kick-off for Sunday's game at Ned Byrne Oval will be at 10.45am.
