Pothole repairs from rain expected to cost $150,000
DRIVERS on Kennedy Dr will have to play dodge the pothole for a while longer after wet weather last month caused damage to the road surface.
According to a Tweed Shire Council spokesman, the council has $150,000 earmarked to repair the surface.
"We're just waiting for it to dry," the spokesman said.
He said repairs would be completed in the next few months.
A crew was on the Kennedy Dr yesterday repairing some of the major damage that was forcing cars to pick a line through the minefield of potholes.
