WATCH: Frost to add scoring heat for Port City Power

BASKETBALL: McDonalds Gladstone Port City Power have its third signing and as the second import.

Guard Amanda Frost will commit to the club for 2018 and she will be the perfect replacement for Tabatha Richardson-Smith

Frost is a 5' 8 combination guard with a knack for scoring the basketball from well beyond the three-point arc and her assists are just as affective as the Power seek a guard who has also a team-first attitude.

She is a graduate of Northern Arizona University where she was in the nation's top 10 for Division One scoring in the 2013-14 season at 22.5 points per game.

Frost has held professional playing contracts in Egypt, Romania and Poland.

She has also played most recently for KS JAS FGB Sosnowied in Poland where she put in 15 points per outing at 46.7 per cent and almost 93 per cent from the foul line.

"Amanda is an exceptional shooter and play-maker who has the ability to play either guard position," Power women's head coach Ray Cooper said.

"She had an outstanding division one college career and has had a number of positive professional experiences since that time.

"We felt we could find an import guard who was a better cultural fit for the direction of our program and believe we have done that with the addition of Amanda."
