Pre-poll correction
WE reported in the weekend paper and today's online edition that people wishing to vote early in Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah could do so from August 27.
However, only the Tweed Heads pre-polling location is open to voters from today and voters wishing to vote early in Murwillumbah will have to wait until next Monday, September 3.
Early voters can cast their vote at the Tweed Returning Officer's office at 39 Wharf St, Tweed Heads and from next Monday at Murwillumbah railway station's waiting room.
