
Private Bewes back tomorrow
[BREAKING NEWS]: The body of Murwillumbah Private Nathan Bewes will touch down in Australia tomorrow ahead of a memorial service, the Australian Defence Force has announced.
Family, friends and colleagues from Pte Bewes’ battalion, the Brisbane-based 6RAR, will be present to welcome him home during the special ramp ceremony.
It will be held at the RAAF Base in Amberley tomorrow at 2pm.
Private Bewes was killed by an improvised explosive device late Friday, Australian time.
Minister for Defence, John Faulkner, Chief of Defence Force Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston and Acting Chief of Army, Major General Paul Symon will also attend.
