Proud farewell to Pacific Coast students

YEAR 12 students from Pacific Coast Christian School at Tweed Heads were given a rousing farewell as they prepared to celebrate their graduation on Monday night.

Past students, as well as the current crop of Year 11s, lined the entrance to the grounds of the picturesque E-Cafe at Tweed Heads South as the school’s small group of 18 Year 12’s made their way up to the restaurant.

“It was just great to watch them grow up and see them graduate,” said Jo Allen, the school’s marketing manager.

“It was very emotional, we are very proud of our students, it was very exciting.”

Parents and staff joined the graduates as they celebrated the end of their schooling in style.

Several students have already received early acceptance to university next year, including into law at Bond University and medicine at the University of Queensland.
