Quicker Than You living up to name

QUICKER Than You has the opportunity to justify its name when it lines up in race six this afternoon.

A reasonable 420m runner at Border Park Raceway, the exciting greyhound makes its debut today across the 520m distance.

He lines up in what should be a tough fourth and fifth-grade contest, but having watched this dog develop, he has every chance of proving his stamina.

So I'll go with the green runner in the six box to win the sixth and take Quicker Than You to beat the ever-impressive Come Back Kim, with Black Hassler to round out the places.

I'll cover myself in the following race and back the super-impressive Tweed Power to make it four from four with a good win over Blue Dart and Major Cloud in the fifth grade final (420m).

There are two lots of heats on the 10-race card, with two heats of a maiden over 420m first up and two more of the Tweed To Casino, which is also across 420m.

In race one, heat one of the maiden, I like Lanchoo over Fredrika Magic and Avalon Magic, while in heat two I fancy All Cloud over Bar Room Babe and Kim Linn.

The third is heat one of the Tweed to Casino and I'll go with Law One to beat Tweed Spirit and Mr Quick, while in the fourth, a maiden final (420m), I'll back Keith Boan's runners for a one-two and tip Three More over Classic Dora, with Tyson's Hand third.

Race five is heat two of the Tweed to Casino and I reckon Story to Tell will get the nod ahead of Tears Of Shiraz and Maja Meg, while in race eight, a fifth-grade 420m, I think Just the Phantom will get up over Yorklea Pam and Big Issue.

The ninth is this week's best eight (420m) and I like Teddy to Go from the one box over Fully Worked and Bond James Bond.

In the lucky last, a fourth and fifth grade 420m, I'll go with the inside box again and take Blaney Lass to beat Phoenix Bomber and Watch The Rocks.

Be trackside for the full on-course and interstate betting facilities in the club's undercover auditorium.

The first local race will jump at 1.45pm (DST) and gates open at 11am.
