Rain delays World Rally DA

ORGANISERS of Repco Rally Australia say the completion of their Development Application to the Tweed Shire Council for the September event have been delayed in part by recent wet weather.

According to the organising body, consultants working on the environmental report into the event have been hindered by the rain.

They need access to the proposed route in order to complete the report.

The DA must be approved by the council for the event to go ahead.
