AN OUTSPOKEN New Year's reveller has surprised an American television reporter by delivering a passionate, but vulgar, message on live television.

A Fox News reporter approached two women during special New Year's coverage and asked them to share their message with the nation.

Without batting an eyelid one of the women looked down the barrel of the camera and started delivering her message with gusto.

"We've got five minutes to 2014 and we're gunna' f*** s*** up," she said.

The reporter promptly took the microphone away from the woman and told her she needed to watch her language.

"This is a family channel ma'am," the visibly surprised reporter said before wishing the woman a happy new year.
