Right message but it’s a no-Mo zone

THE staff at Rainbow Bay Realty are reaching out to the public for donations through their Movember collection tins they have placed in businesses.

Although only a few have grown hair on the top lip this year, it has not stopped them doing their part for men's health.

Every year in the month of November, the Movember foundation is responsible for raising awareness of men's health issues like depression, prostate and testicular cancer and men's mental health in general.

Principal Lenny McLennan wore a stick-on mustache for this photo shoot with Daily News but said everyone involved were doing a great job getting donations.

"In the past we have all grown the mo, but this year we are concentrating on fundraising and from memory we generally get around the thousand dollar mark which is a great effort."

The Movember foundation was created in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia and now inspires more than 3.9 million people globally.
