Rookie scaffolder plummets to his death on construction site

A BUILDING site at Sydney's Barangaroo Point remained cordoned off on Thursday night as investigations into the death of a young scaffolder continued.

A 26-year-old man was taking part in a graduate program for job-ready Koori students when he plummeted 30m to his death on Thursday morning.

According to the Herald, the victim had only been on the job for two weeks.

Worksafe is investigating.
