Routes for bus service increase

BUS commuters travelling from Robina and Varsity Lakes to Tweed Heads will now have more options.

Starting Monday there will be more bus services on Translink route 761.

The new 761 service will operate every 30 minutes between 7am and 7pm.

Translink said it would improve efficiency and reliability of public transport in the southern Gold Coast region.

It would also improve connections with Varsity Lakes and Robina train station, Translink said.

A minor running time adjustment of two minutes later to route 755 has been applied due to the service improvement.
