Firies attend two car fires 100m apart near Murwillumbah

TWO cars were found dumped 100m apart and on fire near the Kynnumboon bridge last night and early this morning.

One of the cars was first used to ram into several signs in the area, according to Murwillumbah Rural Fire Services captain Troy Hodges.

The RFS attended a fire engulfing the car that was used to ram the signs at 10.45pm.

They attended the other car fire at the same location at 3am.

It is not known if the cars were stolen.
