Salon on move at cutting edge

Mr Walker styles a client’s hair inside his innovative mobile salon.

HAIR emergency at home?

Let Anthony Walker come to the rescue.

Mr Walker has designed a mobile salon allowing Gold Coast residents to get their hair done at home, at work or on vacation.

The mobile salon is fully furnished, air-conditioned and equipped as a regular hair salon.

It just has wheels.

“I’ve always had extremely positive feedback from clients,” Mr Walker said.

“People call me for appointments at their workplace and simply step into the mobile salon to have their hair restyled when they have a break.”

The mobile salon has been particularly well received by people with busy lifestyles and it travels from Coolangatta to Helensvale.

“It’s so easy and convenient,” Mr Walker said.

“It has been very successful and popular with busy working people and I’ve built up a list of regular clients.

“It brings all the amenities of a regular hair salon to the client but saves them time and expense while also avoiding the hassle and stress of traffic jams and parking.”

Mr Walker is a professional hair stylist who spent most of his life operating and managing hair salons internationally.

He has opened acclaimed Rever Salons in Hong Kong and continued their success in Bangkok, Manila and Taipei. He now has ambitions to offer the innovative concept to other hair stylists, with business opportunities available.

The mobile salon does cuts, colours, hair straightening, blow dries and perms and there is no extra call-out fee.
