Search continues for Bribie Island man

SEARCH efforts are continuing today for missing 73-year-old Bribie Island man, Mr Michael Newbon.

Police and emergency services have been involved in a land and air search for Mr Newbon, who hasn't been seen since 9.30am, Wednesday, 9 October.

Police urge anybody using the tracks in the National Park, between Bongaree Shopping Centre and Pacific Harbour Golf Course to keep a look out and report any sightings or information.

Also residents in the vicinity of Sunderland Drive and Endeavour Drive at Banksia Beach are reminded to check on yards, garages and sheds periodically.

Mr Newbon is described being 180cm with a slim build and short grey hair, and is wearing a navy polo shirt, long navy trousers and black dress shoes.
