Second man charged in relation to death of Timothy Pullen

POLICE have today charged a 38-year-old Mackay man with accessory after the fact to murder following the death of Timothy John Pullen in Mackay.

Timothy John Pullen was last seen in April 2012 in the Mackay area.

Police from the Homicide Investigation Group and Mackay CIB commenced the investigation into the suspected homicide of Mr Pullen as part of Operation Kilo Lawman.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rodd Carroll, Officer in Charge of Mackay CIB said today's arrest was a positive step in the investigation, but the case remains ongoing.

"We have always received great assistance from the public on this matter and appreciate people across the community coming forward to assist with our investigations.

"Should anyone have any further information to provide us, we encourage them to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."

The 38-year-old man will appear before Mackay Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
