Secrets Bridesmaids Business promises strong performances
YOUNG and old will love all the drama and the humour filled performance of Secret Bridesmaids Business by the Tweed Theatre Company, beginning April 5.
Having begun rehearsals in mid January, the stellar cast of seven, six females and one male, is being directed by Raelene Richards.
President of the Tweed Theatre Company and production manager Coral Kelly said the play was a team effort and which the cast had been practicing twice a week every week.
"The story is about the night before the wedding set in a hotel room with a bride and her mother and bridesmaids and secrets come out," Ms Kelly said.
"It is set for a young adult audience but all the regulars can enjoy the high standard of theatre we always have.
"There are costumes to make, like the bridesmaids dresses.
"It's very good cast with strong characters, we are looking forward to opening night."
