Serena's Australian Open comeback plan
TENNIS: Mum-to-be Serena Williams is planning to defend her title at next year's Australian Open.
The 35-year-old announced in April she was pregnant with her and fiance Alexis Ohanian's first child, and is due to give birth in September.
Her coach Patrick Mouratoglou said it wouldn't stop her returning to play at Melbourne Park next January.
"For anyone it sounds impossible, because it's too short a time after you give birth," he said.
"But Serena is Serena. There is no rule that you can apply to Serena. She has a body that is not anybody's body. She has a will that is also completely unusual. She is one of a kind."
