Sexual assault on Banora Point sex worker case adjourned

A MATTER involving a 67-year-old Gold Coast man who allegedly assaulted a Banora Point sex worker has been adjourned until July.

The man was charged with aggravated sexual assault inflicting actual bodily harm on a victim and reckless grievous bodily harm.

The 46-year-old female sex worker suffered extensive internal injuries during the alleged assault, police said at the time of the arrest.

The matter was before the Lismore Local Court on Tuesday.
