SHOCKING: Carers search for kangaroo shot with arrow

WILDLIFE carers are searching for an injured kangaroo after a shocking act of cruelty.

Natalie Richardson from Wildlife Rescue Fraser Coast said the kangaroo was spotted with an arrow sticking out of its shoulder at Point Vernon about 7.30pm on Tuesday,

Ms Richardson said the people who spotted the marsupial had sent photos.

Ms Richardson said the kangaroo has not been spotted since it was seen on Monday.

"We have people out searching for her," she said.

Ms Richardson said she had contacted the police, wildlife officers and the RSPCA about the incident.
