TWO shooting victims who crashed their car on the way to hospital have died.

The men were shot as they sat in their ute at South Wentworthville in Sydney's west last night.

When emergency services arrived at the scene they found the Toyota Hilux crashed into the front yard of a property.

Both victims suffered a number of gun shot wounds and were rushed to Westmead in a critical condition.

They died overnight.
