Show out of this world
TWEED fans of Hannah Montana will get the Best of Both Girls when a show paying tribute to the teen sensation comes to Seagulls on Sunday.
The show, which has been named after the theme song for the hit Disney show about a girl who lives the double live of a pop star by night and a regular teenager by day, and has recently been turned into a feature-length movie, will feature all the hits from the show and of its star, Miley Cyrus.
Gold Coast entertainer Clasina Preston dons the blonde wig and glitzy clothes to take on the role of Hannah Montana, belting out the hits The Other Side of Me, Rock Star, Life's What You Make It and Best of Both Worlds.
Then show also celebrates the work of Miley Cryus - the daughter of Achy Breaky Heart star, Billy-Ray Cyrus - and includes the hits Seven Things and Girls Night Out.
“It's so much fun,” said the 19-year-old performer whose sister Olivia Preston, 9, is a massive fan of the show.
“When I first told her that I was in the show she said 'cool' and that was it. But when I showed her a poster she took that to show and tell.”
The support act will also send young fans into frenzy, and is a tribute to Disney rockers and stars of School of Rock: The Jonas Brothers.
Tickets for the show, which starts at 4pm, cost $18. To book visit www.seagullsclub.com.au
