Slippery roads a hazard to Tweed drivers

DRIVERS should exercise caution, with oily roads causing problems around the Tweed.

Rural Fire Service Inspector Bob Wilcox said it seemed oil or diesel had leaked on Reserve Creek Rd at Parmvale and on Tyalgum Rd.

Insp Wilcox said the RFS is working with council to clean up the spills.

While it appears the spills haven't caused any accidents, Tweed Byron Inspector Greg Jago urged drivers to be careful.
