Floodwaters pour through the heart of Toowoomba.
Floodwaters pour through the heart of Toowoomba. Sharon Teakle

Special Queensland flood souvenir

QUEENSLANDERS have lived on a knife-edge for weeks as flooding has swept across the state.

With an eerie, brown sea enveloping communities one by one and an inland tsunami wreaking havoc and destruction in Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley, dramatic images have been captured and stories of heartache told.

Tomorrow we bring all of the images, agony and heroic actions together in a special newspaper print production looking back on the disaster that couldn't beat our spirit.

Don't miss you special lift-out feature tomorrow.
