Sportsgrounds plan released

A COUNCIL management plan for community sportsgrounds across the Tweed has come up for public exhibition again with the addition of the Terranora Sportsfield and Black Rocks Sports Field in Pottsville.

Tweed Shire Council recreation services manager Stewart Brawley said residents were welcome to make submissions on the 'Draft Generic Plan of Management for Community Land Classified as a Sportsground' but said there were no major changes to the plan.

"Each time the council changes the plan by adding new sportsgrounds they have to set it for exhibition," Mr Brawley said.

"But there will be no changes to the way council manages these grounds."
