Stabbed man found bleeding on corner on Chrismas Day

A MAN was found covered in blood on a Brisbane street on Christmas Day after an apparent stabbing.

A passer-by called emergency services just before noon on Wednesday after seeing a bleeding man on the corner of Brunswick and Martin Sts in Fortitude Valley.

Queensland Ambulance staff treated the man at the scene before taking him to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police investigations are continuing.
