A YOUNG man, who was repeatedly stabbed during a night out at a Sydney pub, remained in a serious condition in hospital on Wednesday night.

The 21-year-old underwent surgery at St George Hospital after being attacked at a bar on Forest Rd, Hurstville, in the city's south on Tuesday evening.

Police are looking for three men of Asian appearance.

Hours after the attack, a service station on the same road was robbed by two Caucasian men in dark clothing.

The men threatened an employee with a knife and demanded money before fleeing.
