Stacey Chadwick - A local Inspiration

Stacey Chadwick is a 20 year old local Gold Coast girl, who is registered to start her degree in nursing this year.

Before beginning life as a uni student, Stacey will be flying to Papua New Guinea this Saturday (25/1) to participate in a 9 day trek along the Kokoda trail to raise money for 'The Kids Cancer Project.'

"It breaks my heart that the statistics show 3 children a week die from cancer in Australia alone..." explains Stacey. "As I have been blessed with a healthy body, I have decided to spend my savings to 'trek for a cure' and raise as much money as possible to help change this statistic."

Stacey has aimed to raise $5000 to support the charity and is more than half way there.
