Starry, Starry Night, music and dance at Lindisfarne

STUDENTS at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School are busily rehearsing and preparing for their Biennial Winter performance, Starry Starry Night.

The show will explode onto stage at 6.45 pm on Tuesday, June 25.

The evening will showcase various musical ensembles including a flute choir, speech choir, concert band, stringed performances and dances.

There will also be a selection of solo performances and a taste of the upcoming musical for 2014 - "Beauty and the Beast," as well as visual art and textile displays.

"The evening is a celebration of the creative arts at Lindisfarne and is a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform for a large audience," director of creative arts Tracey Kriz said.

"It is sure to be a memorable night of entertainment and wonder and one not to be missed."

Ticket prices are $20.00 per adult, $15.00 per child or $60.00 per family (2 adults and 2 children).

Seating is assigned and subject to availability.

Refreshments will be available for purchase prior to the show and during the interval.
