Stone Parade drop in for a gig

SYDNEY rock band Stone Parade will be in our region for a gig at the Cooly Hotel on Saturday.

Stone Parade is one of the hardest-working bands around. This year it has completed an extensive national tour supporting Juke Kartel, supported Noiseworks in southeast Queensland in early June, and has been doing its own headlining shows.

Soon it will be featured in the line-up for the Rock the Schools Tour, performing in high schools and talking to students during lunch breaks.

With all these shows combined, it will have been on tour for more than three months, completing more than 60 shows.

Its debut album Chase the Setting Sun was released in August last year and its current single Somebody Will Miss You has been receiving good airplay and is also being used for promo on the Channel 9 TV show Missing Pieces, screening Monday nights at 8pm.
