Strike Force Grassy seizes pot crop

POLICE say cannabis plants allegedly found at the home of a New South Wales man have a potential street value of $540,000.

Late on Thursday, Strike Force Grassy officers executed a search warrant at a house in the Sydney suburb of Sans Souci.

They said they found more than 150 cannabis plants and cash.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with cultivating a prohibited plant, using electricity without authority and possessing the proceeds of crime.

Refused bail, he will face court at a later date.
