Students in performing arts show

SOUTH Tweed Primary School students displayed incredible zeal in a performing arts show at Tweed Heads South Bowls Club’s Community Hall.

The event on Wednesday had dual benefits for 250 pupils as they danced and sang but also competed in the school’s public speaking competition.

Performing arts spokesperson Jenny Miller said the main focus was on the public speaking contest, but they had a stage show to help break up the day for the children.

“We made the day more interesting for them by letting them have an arts performance and it was another occasion for our dancers to perform,” she said.
