Superfit Lisa Curry wants to be mum again at age 51

SUNSHINE Coast swimming supermum Lisa Curry is trying to pull off another miracle by having her fourth child by IVF at the age of 51.

Curry and her partner Joel Walkenhorst - who is 31 - have revealed to New Idea that they have consulted with IVF specialists to have a child together.

News.com.au report the couple have been together for three years and say they have always been keen to start a family together.

"This is the single most important decision I will ever make," Curry told New Idea.

"We've been talking on and off about the possibility of having a baby for a couple of years, and it has come to the point where it's now or never.

"So we made the appointment to see the IVF doctor, had the tests and talked about our options. If there were none, we'd have walked away. But even a small chance is a chance.

"Now that we've found out it may be possible, all we can do is try. If it's meant to happen, it will."

Doctors estimate the chances of Curry conceiving are less than 10%.

Curry has three children - Jaimi, 25, Morgan, 22, and Jett, 18 - with her ex-husband, Sunshine Coast ironman legend  Grant Kenny.

Kenny's baby-making abilities made the news last when New Idea reported he was the father of radio personality Fifi Box's baby girl.

Kenny never confirmed the story, saying he does not discuss his personal life with media or magazines.

In December, the Daily Telegraph reported Grant Kenny and Fifi Box had split amicably.
