REACHING into your pocket to pay for a scheduled service will be a thing of the past for any BMW customer buying a new car in September and October with the inclusion of a three-year/60,000km "BMW Service Inclusive Plus" package on all new BMWs ordered and delivered during that period.

BMW Service Inclusive (BSI) is a service package, normally available as an option, that covers basic scheduled service items, including the annual vehicle check, oil change and labour costs, from between three-five years and up to 100,000km depending on the term selected.

BSI Plus is the top level package that covers the same basic scheduled servicing costs as well as additional maintenance items such as brake pads, brake discs, worn clutches and windscreen wiper blades, in conjunction with an Oil Service.

The inclusion of the 3 year/60,000 km BSI Plus package represents added value for BMW customers up to $3,171.

BMW Group Australia Managing Director Phil Horton said customers were increasingly considering "whole-of-life-costs" as part of their purchasing decision and that BMW now offered an even more compelling value proposition.

"We understand that a premium purchase is an emotional decision but we are also making sure that owning a BMW stacks up from a rational point of view," Mr Horton said.

The BSI Plus package offer is available on all new BMW vehicles ordered and delivered between September 1 and October 31.
