Surf film night at the Sands

SET yourself loose next Wednesday, March 4 at the Sands Hotel in Coolangatta for their Pimps and Pros film night extravaganza.

The night will feature Newcastle's latest hip hop sensation G-Fresh and a truck load of prizes will be thrown into the mix to create a night to remember for years to come.

Prizes include a Mick Fanning signature surfboard which will be awarded to the best dressed Pimp or Pro and a Bobby Martinez (USA) new Monster Model.

This is an all ages event so the groms can get in early and watch the 7pm showing; a set of music by the man himself - G-Fresh; meet the stars of the films; feed their bellies for $8 at the Sands own Kirrabelle Restaurant; and be home in bed for the early surf.

All kids must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry.

The film Set Loose is produced by the world renowned surf film makers Matt Gye and Shagga, their last film Fitty Fitty was heralded as a cult classic and this film is set to be the one to break the mould with over two years of material condensed into a stunning visual and musical masterpiece keeping you guessing what's next.

So come on down next Wednesday night, tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for minors or $20 for a family of four - room is limited.

No one will leave without a gleam in the eye and all inspirations 'set loose'.
