Tanilla's killer's sentencing hearing set for next year

A SENTENCING hearing over the brutal murder of NSW toddler Tanilla Warrick-Deaves has been set for early next year.

A jury found Warren Ross guilty of two-year-old Tanilla's death earlier this month.

The court heard he had slammed the child's head against a shower wall and that he and Tanilla's mother Donna Deaves had waited for more than a day before calling an ambulance.

Submissions will be heard on February 28.
