Taser found in man's car
A TASER was found in a man’s car by Kingscliff police after he was stopped in Bogangar in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 23-year-old Mudgeeraba man was charged with possessing a prohibited weapon and his case was mentioned at the Tweed Heads Local Court today.
The weapon, which was in full-functioning condition, was confiscated.
Police had stopped the car to speak to the man about unrelated matters, leading to his vehicle being searched.
