Teen act hits Agnes

TEENAGE group Quatro is making headlines on the Australian music scene, and the band members are planning something "special" for their performance in Agnes Water next month.

Co-manager Wendy Brand said the four schoolgirls who make up Quatro were a "very creative mix" and were very excited about performing, and planned something big for the fundraiser on March 17.

"Anytime they play somewhere they always think up something new," Wendy said.

Wendy said Quatro - Amity Brand, Vanessa Smith, Radha Shukla and Claudia Vogel - has had to step back a bit from festival and function appearances as the teens are in years 11 and 12 in Bundaberg.

"All the mums play a role in managing and looking after Quatro, but they are clever girls and want to continue performing," she said.

"But they also want to finish their education first."

Tickets for Quatro and the Captain's Table Banquet Dinner can be booked by phoning 0428 452 836.
